Separator motor protection alarm triggered

Check the motor protection switch functionality. Ensure the brake is released. Inspect the thermistor relay and its cabling. Verify that operating water valve V2 is open and check the drive. Confirm the correct number of clutch shoes and assess feed capacity. Improve motor ventilation if inadequate.

Product feed temperature is too low (TAL product feed alarm)

Check the settling tank temperature (relevant for HFO). Verify the feed capacity and the TAL setting. Inspect the temperature of the heating medium and the temperature regulator. Electrically check the switching stages of the pre-heater and ensure the pre-heater is clean. Check the PT100 sensor.

Product feed temperature is too high (TAH product feed alarm)

Check the regulating valve and the feed capacity. Verify the TAH setting. Electrically check the switching stages of the pre-heater. Inspect the temperature regulator and the PT100 sensor.

Ejection monitoring alarm: current is less than offset

Check the bowl hydraulics function with valve V3. Inspect the connector on valve V3 and verify the offset setting. Check the water quantity at V3. Ensure the monitoring time for timer 28 is not too short. Electrically check the current converter, inspect the pre-strainer at V3 for dirt, and check the clutch shoes for wear or oil.

Sludge tank full (LAHH sludge tank alarm)

Check the sludge pump functionality. Inspect the bowl hydraulics. Verify the valves in the clean oil line and the setting of V7. Ensure the closing water pulse T06 is not too long. Check the polyamide sealing ring and other sealing rings in the bowl for defects. Inspect the level switch LSHH for dirt or defects.

Feed pump fault alarm

Check the protection switch and the current of the motor circuit breaker. Inspect the pump for mechanical blockage. Verify that valves in the feed line are open. Check the feed temperature and the filter in the feed line for dirt. Inspect all electrical connections and cabling.

Sludge pump fault alarm

Check the protection switch and the current of the circuit breaker. Inspect the pump for mechanical blockage. Verify that valves in the discharge line are open. Check the pipe work for dirt. Inspect all electrical connections and cabling.

Vibration stage 1 alarm (motor off after T25)

Check if limit value 1 is set longer than T25. Inspect the solids holding space and polyamide sealing ring for uneven deposits. Check the vibrosensor fixing and the setting of limit value 1. Open and clean the bowl, then reassemble using only parts with the same series number. Check the foundation fixing for external vibrations.

Vibration stage 2 alarm (separator off)

Check if limit value 2 is set too low. Inspect the solids holding space and polyamide sealing ring for irregular deposits. Check the vibrosensor fixing. Open and clean the bowl, then reassemble using only parts with the same series number. Check the foundation fixing for external vibrations.

WMS system fault alarm (too much water)

Check the product feed for high water content. Verify that the filling water setting of T02 is not too long. Inspect filling water valve V2 for leaks. Check the setting on the evaluation relay. Ensure the setting of timer T22 is not too short; in an emergency, extend T22 during this phase.
