The MMC International D-2401-2 is a triple-function (Tri-mode) portable gauging tape, capable of measuring ullage, temperature, and oil-water interface. It is available in both 'closed/gas-tight' and 'restricted' configurations, with the closed version designed for chemical tankers requiring complete vapor containment, and the restricted version often used for petroleum applications where minimal vapor escape is permitted.
