- The Apollo Discovery range of intelligent fire detectors was introduced in the late 1990s, building upon the principles established by Apollo's earlier Series 90 and XP95 analogue addressable detectors.
- The Discovery range is a high-specification, intelligent line of detectors, offering more advanced features like 'distributed intelligence' compared to the 'central intelligence' system of the XP95 range. It is compatible with the XP95 range and CoreProtocol systems.
- Discovery detectors are chosen for their effective false alarm management, achieved through a combination of EN 54 approved operating modes and sophisticated algorithms, as well as drift compensation technology. They offer five selectable response modes, allowing for customized fire detection in various applications.
