- HEISHIN PUMP WORKS CO., LTD. (also known as HSN-KIKAI KOGYO Co., Ltd.) developed its first marine bilge separator in 1968, obtaining domestic type approval. The company later secured international type approval for its oily water separators in 1978, complying with International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations. In 2004, they developed a bilge separator that complies with the new IMO resolution, obtaining various type approvals including JG, USCG, and MED.
