- Hughes Pumps has been manufacturing high-pressure water jetting equipment since 1970. In 2023, Hughes Pumps updated its pump model descriptions to better reflect performance ratings and distinguish between models.
- The 'Repair Kit' is not a pump model itself, but rather a component for maintaining Hughes Pumps' range of high and ultra-high pressure plunger pumps. These pumps are available in six frame sizes, from 40HP (HP40) to 500HP (HP500), and are designed to operate at pressures up to 2800 bar.
- Hughes Pumps are designed with features that simplify maintenance and extend component life, such as flexible plunger and crosshead connections to extend seal life, and easily accessible plunger connections and crosshead seals. The pumps also feature solid tungsten carbide plungers for reduced friction and extended packing life.
