- The Deep Sea Electronics DSE8610 MKII, which the DSE8610 MKIII builds upon, was updated with new features in November 2017 and June 2020. The original DSE8610 was available prior to September 2007.
- The DSE8610 MKIII is a synchronizing auto start control module designed for multi-generator load share systems, capable of synchronizing up to 32 generators. It is part of the DSE86xx MKIII series, which also includes the DSE8620 MKIII, designed for synchronizing a single genset with a mains (utility) supply, and the DSE8660 MKII, an auto transfer switch and mains control module.
- This model is chosen for its comprehensive synchronizing and load-sharing capabilities in multi-generator systems, offering flexibility for system expansion and advanced control over power delivery.
