The HiMSEN H46/60V engine is part of the HiMSEN family, which was launched in 2001. The H46/60V itself received type approval in April 2013.
The H46/60V is positioned as a high-power option within the HiMSEN medium-speed engine lineup, significantly extending the power band to cover outputs up to 26,000 kW. It has a larger bore and stroke compared to other HiMSEN models like the H25/33 and H32/40.
This model is chosen for its high power density, enabling space-saving marine and stationary applications. It incorporates advanced technologies for optimized combustion and enhanced Miller timing to achieve low fuel consumption and reduced NOx emissions, meeting IMO Tier II regulations and being IMO Tier III compliant with SCR.
