Did you know
- The MAN V45/60CR engine was introduced by MAN Diesel & Turbo (now MAN Energy Solutions) in September 2017, with the first V-type engines becoming available from late 2020 and L-type engines following in 2022. It was designed as a successor to the MAN 48/60CR.
- The 45/60CR is positioned at the upper end of MAN Energy Solutions' four-stroke marine engine lineup for liquid fuel operation, offering a high power output per cylinder. It is part of the '4X' line of high-performance diesel engines.
- This model is chosen for its combination of high power output, best-in-class fuel consumption, and low emissions, making it suitable for applications with high power demands such as cruise ships, RoPax ferries, RoRo vessels, and dredgers. Its modular design also facilitates faster installation and easier maintenance, contributing to reduced lifecycle costs.
