- Within PROTEGO's range of Pressure-Vacuum (PV) valves, the PV/EB series, including the PV/EB and PV/EB-E, are efficient breather valves with integrated flame arresters, primarily used for in-breathing and out-breathing on tanks. The PV/EBR series, such as the PV/EBR and PV/EBR-E-IIB3, are also combined pressure/vacuum relief valves with integrated flame arresters, offering high flow capacities and specific protection for certain explosion groups or substances like ethanol. The PV/EL and PV/ELR are combined pressure and vacuum relief valves known for their excellent flow performance and 10% technology, but without integrated flame arresters. - The PROTEGO PV valves are chosen for their '10% technology,' which allows the valve to reach full lift with only a 10% overpressure, enabling set pressures closer to the tank's maximum allowable working pressure or vacuum. This technology, combined with extreme tightness achieved through high-quality stainless steel valve seats and precisely lapped valve pallets or air cushion seals, results in minimal product losses and reduced environmental pollution.
