- Winel has been manufacturing valves for over 50 years, with their tank vent check valves being a long-standing product. The 'CM' aluminum tank vent check valve, a standard type, was launched in Autumn 2016.
- The Winel BV (Tankers (Oil & Gas)) PV valve is part of Winel's broader range of tank vent check valves, which also includes the CM (Cylindrical Model) and CMO (Cylindrical Model Overflow) series. The CMO is a newer addition, introduced in February 2018, designed for direct overboard discharge, complementing the standard CM which discharges on deck.
- Winel's PV valves are designed for reliable, maintenance-free, and automatic operation, ensuring the ventilation of ballast and void tanks while preventing seawater contamination. They are constructed from seawater-resistant aluminum alloy (ALMG4.5) for durability and feature a slimline, lightweight design with high flow capacity.
