- The Hochiki FIREscape emergency lighting system was introduced in 2009, building on Hochiki's extensive heritage in life safety solutions dating back to 1918.
- The FIREscape system is a core offering within Hochiki's emergency lighting range, positioned as an intelligent, self-monitoring, and cost-effective LED-based solution. It has since been succeeded by the FIREscape Nepto, an updated generation, and can be integrated with the FIREscape+ system, which combines emergency lighting with fire detection on a single control panel and loop.
- FIREscape's primary strengths lie in its addressable, extra-low voltage (40V) LED technology, which reduces cabling costs and energy consumption compared to traditional systems.
