- The Grundfos SE and SL series of submersible drainage pumps have been a core part of Grundfos's wastewater offerings, with an extended range of models from 12 to 42 hp introduced in December 2016. More recently, in April 2024, Grundfos launched a new SE range 48, offering 1.5-15 hp models.
- The SE/SL series sits within Grundfos's heavy-duty wastewater pump range, designed for municipal, utility, and industrial applications. The SE models are versatile for both submerged and dry installations, while the SL models are specifically for submerged use.
- These pumps are chosen for their high operational reliability and energy efficiency, largely due to optimized hydraulics with large free passage and the innovative S-tube® impeller, which minimizes clogging.
