The Megger MOM600A micro-ohmmeter was introduced as an ideal choice for applications where integral result storage facilities are not required, alongside the MOM690 and MOM200A models. It is part of Megger's MOM series, designed for measuring low resistance in high-current electrical connections.
The MOM600A sits in the middle of Megger's MOM series in terms of current output, offering 600 A DC, making it more powerful than the MOM200A (200 A) and MOM2/MOM3 (220 A/300 A), but less powerful than the MOM690 (800 A DC/660 A AC).
The MOM600A is chosen for its ability to deliver stable test currents up to 600 A DC for precise low-resistance measurements in demanding environments.
