- The Caterpillar C32 marine engine, a V12 diesel, began production around 2006. It is a scaled-up version of the C30 block, which itself evolved from the Caterpillar 3412 engine. In 2020, Caterpillar Marine launched the C32B, an updated high-performance version, followed by the C32B Triple Turbo in 2021.
