- The Aalborg OL, formerly known as MISSION OL, is part of a boiler heritage from Aalborg Industries (now Alfa Laval) that dates back to 1919 with the first marine boiler from the Aalborg Shipyard.
- The Aalborg OL is a large-capacity oil or gas-fired boiler, distinguishing it from smaller auxiliary boilers like the Aalborg OS-TCi (1,200–8,000 kg/h steam) and the Aalborg CHB (0.75 to 8 t/h thermal output), and placing it below the very high-capacity Aalborg D (up to 120 t/h steam).
