Chugoku Marine Paints (CMP) introduced SEAFLO NEO SL M in January 2022, building upon over 25 years of experience in silyl antifouling technology. This product is an addition to their TIPSMA antifouling range, which began with the original silyl acrylate antifouling, SEA GRANDPRIX, launched in 1995.
The SEAFLO NEO SL M is part of CMP's SEAFLO NEO series, which was initially launched in 2010. It is positioned as an advanced ultra-low friction silyl methacrylate antifouling, succeeding models like SEAFLO NEO SL and SEAFLO NEO SL Z, and preceding the SEAFLO NEO SL ZX.
SEAFLO NEO SL M is chosen for its ultra-low friction technology, which minimizes hull resistance and contributes to significant fuel savings and CO2 emission reductions. It offers long-term fouling protection for up to 90 months and maintains excellent static performance for up to 30 days of idling.
