Chugoku Marine Paints (CMP) was founded in May 1917 as China Chemical Industry Limited Partnership, initially manufacturing hull coatings. The company was reorganized as Chugoku Marine Paints, Ltd. in May 1923.
The BANNOH series is a line of protective coatings from Chugoku Marine Paints, with BANNOH Z being part of this established family. Other notable products in the BANNOH series include BANNOH 500, BANNOH 1500, BANNOH 1500R Z, BANNOH 2000, BANNOH 3000, and BANNOH 5000.
BANNOH Z is an epoxy anti-corrosive primer known for its excellent water and seawater resistance, making it suitable for ship hulls and other marine structures. It also offers good overcoatability with various antifouling paints and provides a smooth surface.
