- Chugoku Marine Paints (CMP) was founded in May 1917, initially manufacturing marine paints. The UNIGUARD series includes various waterproofing and protective coatings.
- UNIGUARD HB is a single-component acrylic-based waterproofing and protective coating within CMP's UNIGUARD range. Other products in the UNIGUARD family include UNIGUARD HB Topcoat, a water-proofing and carbonation-resistant acrylic paint, and UNIGUARD HB Tex, a water-based textured paint.
- UNIGUARD HB is chosen for its high flexibility, strength, durability, and UV resistance, making it suitable for creating a seamless, durable waterproofing membrane, especially for roofs. It also offers excellent resistance to water and moisture, crack-bridging properties, and strong adhesion to various substrates.
