- Hempaprime Multi 500 was launched globally in July 2017, designed to offer faster drying times and shorter overcoat intervals for industrial applications.
- Within Hempel's 'Hempaprime' series, Hempaprime Multi 500 is an advanced high-build epoxy intermediate coating. Other Hempaprime products include Hempaprime Alpha 230, a zinc phosphate epoxy for new-build steel, Hempaprime Alpha 590, a high-solids epoxy for new construction and maintenance, Hempaprime Special 760, a waterborne epoxy primer for galvanized and stainless steel, Hempaprime Robust 600, a glass flake epoxy for abrasive and corrosive environments, Hempaprime Core 500, a low VOC epoxy for mid to severe corrosive environments, Hempaprime Ultimate 530, a waterborne zinc-rich epoxy primer, Hempaprime Ultimate 540, an activated zinc epoxy primer with Avantguard and graphene technologies, and Hempaprime Immerse 900, an anticorrosive primer used in a three-coat fouling defense system.
