International (AkzoNobel) introduced Intercure 200HS as a rapid recoat epoxy primer.
Intercure 200HS is part of the broader Intercure range of 2-pack, low-temperature, fast-curing epoxy primers and finishes. Within this range, it functions as a primer/intermediate, while products like Intercure 4500 and Intercure 99 serve as primer/finishes, and Intercure 420 is an intermediate coating.
This model is chosen for its fast-drying, two-component, high-solids, and low VOC epoxy zinc phosphate/micaceous iron oxide formulation, offering excellent barrier protection and rapid overcoating even in low temperatures. Its ability to cure down to 0°C (32°F) and be overcoated within 7 hours in most conditions significantly speeds up production in fabrication shops.
