Jotun Tankguard SF was introduced as part of the TankFast solution, launched in September 2019. The TankFast range was developed to enable tanks to return to service more quickly.
Tankguard SF is a solvent-free novolac epoxy tank lining within Jotun's Tankguard family of coatings. It is positioned as the fastest back-to-service novolac tank lining in Jotun's portfolio, offering wet-on-wet application.
The primary strength of Tankguard SF is its ability for wet-on-wet application, significantly reducing turnaround times and allowing tanks to return to service faster. It also offers high chemical resistance, including sour crude oil up to 140°C.
