The Sigma Coatings brand by PPG was formed in 1972 through the merger of three companies, including Pieter Schoen & Sons, which began grinding pigments in the Netherlands in 1722. PPG acquired SigmaKalon Group, which included Sigma Coatings, in 2008.
The Sigmacover 520 is a two-component, high-solids epoxy tiecoat within PPG's extensive Sigmacover range of epoxy coatings. It functions as a final coat in epoxy underwater anticorrosive systems.
The Sigmacover 520 is chosen for its suitability as a final coat in epoxy underwater anticorrosive systems and as an epoxy tiecoat for PPG antifoulings. It offers extended recoating intervals and is easy to apply by airless spray and brush.
