- The Sherwin-Williams Acrolon 218HS is a polyester-modified, aliphatic, acrylic polyurethane. It is a two-component system.
- Within the Acrolon family, the 218HS is a fast-drying, general-purpose acrylic polyurethane. Other Acrolon products include Acrolon 1850, an isocyanate-free acrylic epoxy finish, and Acrolon 7300, a high-solids acrylic polyurethane.
- Acrolon 218HS is chosen for its fast-drying properties, excellent color and gloss retention for exterior exposure, and its ability to be applied directly over organic zinc-rich primers.
