- Allweiler has a long history in pump manufacturing, dating back to 1860 when Gotthard Allweiler invented the fire-fighting wing pump. The NIS Series, also referred to as NI, is part of Allweiler's centrifugal pump offerings.
- The NIS Series (Inline Centrifugal) is an inline volute casing centrifugal pump. Allweiler also offers other centrifugal pump series, such as the NIM for marine applications, which is also an inline design, and the ALLMARINE MA-S/MA-C series, which are single-stage, single-flow vertical volute-casing centrifugal pumps. Additionally, Allweiler produces the ALLCHEM® series (CNH-B and CNB), which are chemical centrifugal pumps.
- The NIS Series is designed for handling a variety of liquids including pure water, industrial water, seawater, condensate, oils, brines, lyes, and hot water. Its inline design allows for flexible installation in cooling, heating, circulating systems, and water supply applications.
